You guessed it 72 hours later they emailed me back saying she never offered me luggage allowance. 3 days later I emailed them to ask about this and got a reply saying they would investigate within 48 hours. I called their customer service line which took over an hour to get through and was told they would get back to me within 48 hours. The original price was £368 pp but when I finished it had grown to £452 pp and when I got and read my confirmation email I noticed they had not put and luggage on for us, only hand luggage even though I specifically asked for luggage and asked how much allowance I had to which the lady said 20kg pp. I recently booked a holiday for myself and two friends through teletex holidays. I think you must agree that this is not a very good service. to give you the opportunity to prepare for your phone call I will also tell you that the young man I booked with gave me a direct contact number ( only because I asked for one just in case a problem arose) when I did eventually ring that number and asked for him by name the lady I spoke to said she had never heard of him and I should not be ringing that number and told me she would put me through to customer services, I told her I had tried them already and could not get an answer at which point she repeated that she would put me through to customer services and cut me off. I am very interested how /what you can say that can now change the anxiety and stress that was caused during the week prior to our holiday ie not knowing whether we had the correct documents and not being able get in touch with your contact centre for confirmation.
